Jhirna Safari Zone: Located 16 km from Ramnagar city, Jhirna remains open for travellers all year long.

Dhela Safari Zone: A new addition to the park, Dhela Safari Zone lures travellers with its beautiful flora and fauna. It is located 13 Km from Ramnagar City and remains a popular ground for both wildlife and nature enthusiasts.

Dhikala Zone: The beauty of Dhikala Zone is exotic. 18 km away from Ramnagar city, this is the place where travellers can plan an overnight stay to experience the wild after dusk.

Durga Devi Zone: Edging the north-eastern border of the Jim Corbett National Park, this zone is perfect to relish some time spotting vibrant birds chirping happily. It is located 36 km from Ramnagar city.

The winter months from October to February are perfect to explore the natural beauty of Jim Corbett National Park. This is also the time when the majestic Bengal tiger can be spotted easily. Visiting in the months of July to September is not recommended as animals usually go in dense forest areas to guard themselves from the rains. During March to June months, the park remains hot, making safari difficult. However, this is the time when animals get out of their abodes to look for water near the river.

How to Reach Jim Corbett National Park

The nearest domestic airport to Corbett National Park is 50 kms away from the Park at Phoolbagh, Pantnagar. Those taking train services can land at the Ramnagar railway station. The park also enjoys great road connectivity and thus, road travel is also preferred from various Indian cities .
