Umaid Bhawan Palace was designed by H V Lanchester, a renowned Edwardian architect. Over 50,000 men and women worked together to complete this majestic structure that acquires an area of 26 acres. The Palace has been adorned with abundance of graceful royal heirlooms, high ceilings, marble corridors, hunting trophies, emerald lawns and grand courtyards. The beautiful wall paintings and the choice of furniture used are awe-inspiring and are still well-preserved here. Apart from this, the spectacular palace is also known for housing a unique clock tower, Durbar hall, which was used for public gathering during bygone era.
