Folklore Theatre and Museum is another charmer for the devotees of art. The museum, which looks like a temple, flaunts great collection of mural paintings by Unnis M Mani Achary. Another wonder that is known for its remarkable structure is the Santa Cruz Basilica, counted as one of the heritage buildings in India.

To dig out some tales of history, a visit to the Mattancherry Palace is a must. Also known as the Dutch Palace, it was built by the Portuguese. It is known for housing some very stunning murals describing Hindu temple art, displays of the Kochi kings and their portraits.
