Visitors visiting the temple can see the idols of Lord Janardhana and Lord Venugopala, who are worshipped here. Another renowned holy shrine of Mysore is the Chamarajeshwara Temple. Standing as a memorial of Sri Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar, the temple exhibits two mantapams, including the Muukha-Mantapa and the Nandi Mantapam along with a sanctum.

Those having ardour for the culture and history of Mysore, the Folklore Museum is a must visit attraction. Exhibiting magnanimous collection of artworks and crafts, the museum is known for housing around 6500 folklore articles on display, which make it one of a kind in Asia.
