To walk down the memory lanes, visit Gandhi Museum, raised in memory of Gandhiji after his assassination. Inaugurated in 1959, the museum houses a Picture Gallery with Gandhiji’s visual biography and original & replicas of his personal belongings.
Madurai’s natural vistas are mesmerising and can be explored by visiting the Samanar Hills. Apart from the natural fountain found here, the hills are known for Jain carvings.
